Engineering Challenge
Our client was challenged by a multi-national hardware/software telecomm provider to deliver a miniature, high-speed cable assembly that would perform consistently in a noisy (6) antennae environment. Several leading Asian mass production suppliers failed the initial specs and volume delivery & quality were at risk.
FAE Solution
Mitas Electronics Field Application Engineers were initially retained to support an entirely new design of this complex interconnect cable to specs/quality/volume. Following multi-source sample approval delivered in 5 days, Mitas Electronics delivered 100k units in the first 30 days and delivered up to 245k units/month from US and diverse global partners saving the end client $3.5M US/ year.
